the problem with bends is rodding access. If they block up how do you unblock them?
If you can design the soil pipe to allow access at every bend fine but I would have thought the cost in fittings is going to become high and all those access points are going to take up a lot of space.
However if you use push fit I supose you could argue that access could be gained by dismantling but imagine the potential mess inside your house. yuk.
