Hi Folks, I as ever need a little guidance to enclosing the exterior steps to my basement. There was a rickety roof with fencing panels for the sides, the roof has rotted and in a race I pulled it all down before it fell down, well it could have been a dead heat.
I do not know where to start and would also like a little advice on what I should ask the builder.
My hopeful idea is to have built two walls built (3.1m + 3.1m) and a roof put on.
The first 1.2m of the height would be below ground which I have already dug out, but not the foundation, with roughly 3m x 1.1m concrete floor area accessed from the back wall via new door.
