How did they know you'd built a wall on the inside of your garage - is there a busybody in the street that hasn't taken a shine to you?

May be a planning officer walking about with laser penetrating eyes and a very sensitive nose who could smell the mixing of fresh mortar!

I wonder if after building his wall he took his garage door off to reveal the block work?

Any way. most people i know do not use their garages for parking their cars, many are too tight for that, and so most people use them for storing junk. that is a fact.
