my 97 corsa has its engine manegment light on i took it to my local garage but his computer wont connect with my car is there eny way to put the light out my car is runing fine the light is getting on my nerves [/b]

Sometimes dropping the battery off for a few minutes is enough to clear the fault codes, failing this you'll need to take it to a vauxhall dealer to get the light put out with their computer providing there are no faults pending.

Ive got the answer at home. 
I think turn ignition off.
Press & hold trip metre, turn ign on, I think 3 bars appear. Turn off should have cleared it.
It does on our car, but it does come back again, which means there is a problem, but who cares.
