I just finished putting back my 96 Geo Metro (That's what we call a Suzuki Swift in the US), 3 cylinder 1L engine, after getting it overhauled. I put the head and the block together myself. I am not able to get it started. I get a lot of fuel coming out of the Throttle Body injector's top (where the air filter would sit). I am thinking this is fuel that should be going to the cylinders. Could this be the reason? Anybody has an idea on why that would happen?

If it's burping fuel back out the inlet, you may have an error with the valve timing or clearances. It could just be a temperature sensor fault, causing massive overfuelling. Your spark plugs will need drying out anyway.
Are all the wiring connectors on ok and in the correct place?

sounds like the camshaft is significantly out of alignment with the crank.
your piston is coming up on the induction stroke when it should be going down.
given you have 3 cylinders and assuming it is a four stroke cycle then you'll be out by at least 120 degrees, maybe as much as 240 degrees between the 2 items. you are lucky not to have bent a few valves.
