I am planning on laying my engineered wood flooring with Sikabond T52 to the concrete base. I am using this method as I have UFH

Is it best to use a self levelling compound first to get the base completely flat or is there some tolerance when using the adhesive (my floor isn’t too far out but guess its not completely flat).

If so what self levelling product do you recommend?

Also any comments on the Sikabond T52 product?

Thanks

a concrete floor can sloop 3mm over 1 meter wide (in one direction!) before it will give you problems.
However, with UFH it is best to create an as level as possible concrete floor to prevent air-gaps (adhesive IS NOT a filler).

T52: expensive but good

Thanks for the reply. I will get a straight edge and work out how much.

If it does need levelling can you recommend the best compound to use?

Many thanks
