I am having a new extractor fan fitted . I wanted the light and fan on separate switches , there is no window. I have been told they have to be on one switch is this right? You wouldn't need the fan on if you were only brushing your teeth.
 
Yes it is right. To comply with regs it must be controlled by the light switch and timed to overun for 15 mins.
