Entended PIR cables, now cant set

I have extended 2 pir cables by using chock blocks and rewiring sensors as they were previously (six wire). I cannot set the alarm now, All of the zone lights are lit but it just beeps quietl and doesn't go into "set". I did this while the system was still powered up

I have checked the internal fuse which is OK. None of the sensors now "flash" when you move in front of them. I have checked the wiring and am sure that they are wired as before. I am not getting 12V at the sensors either.

I have been told I may have to enter a master reset code, is this the case ?

Hi ,
You have almost certainly blown the 12v aux supply fuse, take it out and test it.

As said above, you have undoubtably blown the Aux fuse, Replace the fuse and all should be ok.

It was in fact a fuse (tucked away behind the entry keypad )as rightly pointed out, many thanks.
