EPDM question

Hi
Anyone used EPDM roofing system?
Do you glue both parts ie the EPDM and the material it goes onto?
Is the glue flexible so you can make adjustments when laying?
Is this a good system to use instead of the old fashioned and very expensive Zinc sheets?

I have not used it, but with the product I recently saw, an adhesive was spread onto the timber deck and the epdm laid onto this. It was a slow setting adhesive, and so allowed the membrane to be moved. Contact adhesive was used on all edges to prevent wind lift.

I think this is a good alternative to flat roofing, simpler to lay and potentially longer lasting - but not the 40 years claimed by the manufacturers
