1. i haven't heard about Epstein abusing children. Just girls (and maybe boys) under the legal age of consent, but sexually mature.

2.Girls of 14 have been sexually mature for anything up to 4 years.......... So from 10 years old


3. Sexually mature girls are not children. It's an offence to have sex with them even if consensual (depending on the jurisdiction) but it's not paedophilia.

4.Also the girls in the Epstein case must take a share of the blame. Did they think they were being invited for their sparkling company?

quite sure what you mean. I hold my hands up about the legal definition of a child (your #42). I can see that it justifies the term paedophile even when pre-pubertal children are not involved, making it sound more serious.
