I need some new tiles for a bay window (roof). The tiles are approx 8" x 4" and just flat. Any ideas where one might purchase such a thing?

i'll take that as a 'no' then 
Do you mean rosemary, or similar, roof tiles? perhaps best to ask in the roofing section?
could try a local builders merchants mate, sorry but i am a wall & floor tiler, not a roof tiler/felter/slater, so this is only a suggestion
They might be 10" x 6" plain tiles try your local builders merchant.
