More help needed. We have an existing essex flange into our HW cylinder. I want to use it to feed a Salamander ESP shower pump.

Is this "fit for purpose"?
If so I'd like to check that it has the "birds beak" on the end of the pipe, and that the pipe goes in far enough (4" as per Salamander guidelines). How does it come undone? I don't want to disturb the cylinder connection - just the pipe. There's three nuts on it - a huge one nearest the tank, one in the middle, and a third where the pipe leaves. Which does what?
Thanks
