Hi

I need to replace the garden fence and want to use low moisture concrete posts rather than wooden posts spiked into the ground. In total I reckon I would need 7 fencing panels to complete the project and 8 posts.

Can anybody give me a clue as to cost of materials and a reasonable labour charge?

many thanks

I've just bought concrete posts for about £7.50 each (8ft so 2ft in the ground). We did the job ourselves but a local fence fitter said it would cost about £64 per section, ie 6ft by 6ft fence, gravelboard and posts.
So you have seven sections £64 X 7= alot!!! Its worth looking in local papers as jewsons concrete posts were alot dearer than this!
