Has anyone used HBXL estimator? Ive looked into it and dont really fancy spending that kind of money! That said if it can cut down then time it takes to do estimates it may be worth it! Still undecided! Is there a better/cheaper version outhere?

Many many years ago, I asked a builder how to price for work.

His answer was, work out your day rate, work how many days work it is and add materials - then double it.

I did this for many years.

But I always sent the estimate/quote within 24hrs.

I don't see how a program you have to buy can tell you how much to charge.
