Anyone know why my Euro Mini Alarm control panel has gone blank and all of the PIRs are not working. I have changed the 12v back up battery but nothing has changed.

other post read:
"I recently removed the front cover of a PIR to decorate and as in the past the tamper alarm sounded, but there was no indication on the control box so I could not reset the alarm. after 15 mins the alarm stopped, so I thought it had corrected itself but now none of the PIRs are working. I assumed the back up battery had run flat and as it is 5 years old I replaced it but the system is still not working, any ideas as to what I have done or what I need to do."

Sound like the mains power has been disconnected and then the standby battery has gone flat.

Think you need to restore the mains power.

Thanks for your reply Stevo44, as I am not an electrician (it confuses me!!) not sure how to do that, there is a red flashing light inside the large box and the control panel responds when I press the button "D" and put in "2000" it asks me to wait, then nothing.

Hello sparky, sorry to confuse things but the panel is blank but I read the installation manual just in case it needed re-programming and there is some life but nothing happens after it says "please wait". None of the PIRs are working, so I think there is a breakdown in the electrics and if I now remove the main cover the "tamper" activity also does not work. Do I need to check all the fuses?

I would ....check voltage on the panel with a multimeter at aux 12/0v on the pcb (13.80v dc) and 12/0v on bus line for keypad first ....then check fuses for both depending on reading for both..
