hi guys,

Last night my eurosec alarm gone off for no reason then we had a power cut straight after. When the power came back on again, the control panel start alarming. After approx. 10 sec the external alarm goes off as well. On the control panel, it displays as "Set". I entered the user codes a few times to try and reset it but it didn't work.

Everybody can help me with this? I never really use the alarm, do I need to engineer to sort this out?

cant be 100% certain, but there is nothing on the display indicting no power, what is displayed currently.

I would take a guess that the power cut occurred and the panel went off when your back up battery failed.

You need to be more specific with what you mean by didn't work.

for example:- the panel was in alarm and entering your code didn't stop it, or was the external siren sounding and entering your code didn't stop it.

No display = no power

hi,

thanks for your reply. I turned off the main power at the moment while trying to find a solution and hence no display on the panel.

If I turned on the main power again now, the panel starts up and will starts alarming. I tried enter my code at this point but it didnt stop it and approx 10 sec after that, the external siren will also start going off. Despite I tried a number of times to re enter the code nothing seems to be happening... The alarm will continue.

thanks.

hi,
I have tried 5678 still can't stop it. I have attached another photo and a video so you guys can see when it is in action. This may sound very daft, after I entered my code is there any other button I need to press... I do not have a manual

thanks.

No just code ...check you get a bleep with each key press ...it could be a number not working ...

although one of the number button is sluggish, when i pressed hard I still get a beep. Could that be the reason why ??
