Hey guys,

Hoping someone here can help me with this... we moved into a new house a two months ago, the alarm system was installed several years ago by a previous owners.
There isn't a service contract and we don't have any details for the installer. I was provided with the pin code and engineer code.
Over the last ten days or so, the alarm has been saying 'Service-Due' and now today it says 'Lock-Out'.
When we try to set the alarm, it says 'Can't set, use 2137'. The engineer code also results in the same message.

Reading online, I've understood I need a anti-code generated from the '2137' seed code. Is there any way for me to get hold of the generator or someone that could help me with an unlock code? Or do I need to contact the manufacturer? At the moment, the whole system is rendered unusable. Any help would be much appreciated!

Many thanks in advance.

If you have the engineer code you do not need the anti code
Go into engineer mode and set the alarm with the engineer code and that will reset the service timer.
Once reset you need to go into engineering and turn off the service timer so this will not happen again

@Handymanjo thanks for the quick reply.

How do I set the alarm using the engineer code/mode? If I use the engineer code followed by the 'alarm-on' button, it still says 'Can't set, use 2137'

The engineer code will override the anti code
Is the engineer code correct ?
The alarm has a service timer enabled which will lock out the alarm if the engineer code is not entered before timer is up

Engineer Access - Programming Zones
In order to access Engineer Mode the User MUST start to set the system, then the Engineer must enter the Engineer code TWICE.

When programming a non EN control panel, the Engineer does not require User authorisation to gain access to Engineer mode. Go straight to step 5

If the above does not work then you do NOT have the correct engineer code
You will need to factory default the control panel to sort fault
I can give you the anticode reset if you pm me if the above does not work

It needs defaulting ....if the engineer code does not work but the default user code works after defaulting the panel is engineer locked and requires the installer to change or a new pcb
