evap. purge valve "clicking"

No, unless you try a little WD40 in the valve, but I think its the solenoid that causes the noise.

I'd be more concerned if it stopped clicking!!

Presumably this is from the carbon canister solenoid?
They do click as the solenoid opens, but as to its frequency, I haven't a clue

Its perfectly normal, the frequency can be erratic, as Mursal says, if it stops its prob time to spend your hard earned!!
