He used the words "this co called virus" and then went on to mention an 18th century doctor who ( it seems ) set conditions for a pathogen to be called a virus. In fact Dr Robert Koch was talented in research in bacteria ( he discovered the bacteria that causes TB ) but a virus is not a bacteria.
