Anyone used this?

I have some walls that have shed loads of imperfections, like badly filled areas, cracks, etc...

To my mind, there are two solutions:

Knock back, fill and sand all these areas.
Get a plasterer in to skim the walls.

But could the above be another possibility?

Trying to find a middle ground solution

Although I am a decorator, there are times where it is cheaper to get walls reskimmed. Without seeing the walls, I can't comment further, however, I would add that if you don't have decent sanders connected to a dust extractor, the replaster option will be cleaner.

I haven't used that particular product. I like some of their products and loathe others.
