"Ford issues warning over post-Brexit UK production"

" Ford has warned that the competitiveness of the UK’s auto industry will be put “at risk” if Britain leaves the EU without a deal that provides access to the market, in its starkest warning over the future of British production yet.“No deal would be the very worst case for the UK auto industry and would put at risk the competitiveness of the industry,” it said on Wednesday."

reports the FT.

However, if you read the Quitter Press, you might not know that.

Imaginitive reinterpretation?

...says one of the Quitters who spent 44 years moaning about the EU, and show no signs of stopping.

I promise to stop mentioning the costs and drawbacks of resigning from the EU, 44 years after the last Quitter stops bitching about it.

How's that £350m/week coming on?

It's quite interesting innit? Just goes to show the best way is to look at more broad a list of publications.
And interestingly you put a quote up from the Financial Times, who supported to remain in the EU.

the Financial Times...
...which does not have a political allegiance.

and Reuters, and Sky, and the Indie and the Times.

I see Theresa is tiptoeing backwards away from her Hard Brexit No Deal approach. I haven't heard them suggesting a war with Spain today, either, which is an improvement.

You're talking about Brexit right? (your fav subject after all!).

The Times and the FT were both publications that wanted folk to remain in the EU and had many pro-EU articles in their publications.
I just thought it was amusing that you quoted from a source that was pro-EU and so are you. Nothing wrong with it, just amusing :)

ps Sky news has Kay Burley. Enuf said!

Still being paid to the EU for now.
No change there.

Immigration? - Carry on as normal.

Extra NHS funding - Zero.

Brexit = Lose all beneficial privileges but get to keep the bits that the quitters thought they voted to ditch. Hilarious - you could not make it up. At least the quitters will get to have wonky veg. Or was that just another silly made up lie by the quitters.

but get to keep the bits that the quitters thought they voted to ditch

We haven't left the EU yet. So you'll just have to put your crystal ball away for now and go back to the bookies with it.
No doubt the banner wavers will still want their left wing agenda adhered too.

Its worth considering Ford don't make any cars in the UK, the last one, a Fiesta, having rolled off the Dagenham assembly line in 2005. They do however produce engines and commercial vehicles for which the UK is their largest market. That said, it is of course an uncertain time, Ford announced a 1.6 bn investement in the USA and a 600m investment in Germany, but no investment in the UK.

It's certainly interesting to see that the Quitter rag reports on a speech, and turns the message into reverse.

Mrs May is being told from all quarters that her "No deal is better" hard Brexit, option 4 idea is a terrible one.

Even the Europhobes on here wouldn't admit they were voting for option 4.
