So, I may have screwed up my render.

EWI-220 base coat over EPS with mesh embedded. Applied 5-7pm when it had cooled to just below 25C.

Nightmare to apply, got grabby and pulled about the wall before I have got it flat, so the finish is hideous.

It refused to firm up by 10pm to float it, managed to wet n' rub 5:50 the next morning. But south facing wall and I'm guessing it dried out too fast and now it's showing cracks. That said, it feels solid to a knocking so I don't think it's coming off.

I've just ordered £500 worth of primer and silicone render. And am hoping I can get some feedback before I risk trying to polish a turd.

OP,
Perhaps you've attempted to do too much with not much experience?
Maybe its time to get a pro view on site because, given the poor background, & your seemingly lack of experience, then your proposal ref silicone render might end up even worse - hopefully, you can cancel or put on hold any new order?
