yes or no
i know it seems to be popular on site but ive never been convinced due to the fact it stretches out when pulled.

But when it's bonded within the set mortar, it won't stretch.

There is no 'yes or no' answer. 'Yes', it will strengthen the brickwork a little, but its primary purpose is to prevent or reduce shrinkage cracking.

For proper reinforcement of masonry you need the stainless steel ladder frames
