As the title says really - Where can you get experience working on these units -would work for free at weekends.i particularly mean washing machines -cooker element replacement and vacuum cleaner repairs

This is to do with wanting to start up our own buisness - But its the repair side that is holding us back on jumping in on this.

My wife works in this type of buisness (not her own ) and knows the spares inside out -show her a cooker or vacuum cleaner and she will know the part it wants ( not joking ).She can also do most repairs on vacuum cleaners bar electrical type repairs (motor ).But its me as an I.T Technician needs to change career and get doing repairs. If i knew how to do this i think we would make the leap and start up on our own.

Again anyone with any sound ideas ??
