Afternoon All,
I have a PIR which has very short cable runs going into a sealed pir. (it came off a flood light+pir unit).
I'm only using the PIR, however when i mount the unit i have very little space to make connections, let alone put a screw type terminal block on it.
What would be the best way to extend the wires to give me enough slack to wire properly? I have all the space in the world to connect the wires while it isn't mounted - but the connector (or all the connectors) will need to fit though a 1/2" hole.
Will be using stranded wire to stranded fixed to PIR.
will be a proper junction box where switch and mains will connect.
