Extending 6mm Shower Cable.

I was just going to get a maint free jb, but the join is inside studwork, so I suspect it's a no-no.

Any advice? It wouldn't actually kill me to run a new 10mm cable to the CU, but a join would be easier short term, not least because the existing cable already goes through the pull cord.

In an ideal world, the fewer joints you have, the better.

Can you run a new length from the switch, as the switch is a natural break in the cable anyway, so you are not introducing any further joints?
