Hi guys,

Building an extension, wanted to do a screed floor, but was told by a Structural Engineer that it needs to be beam and block as it is sitting on clay.

Need to save ceiling space, are there any alternative floor types I can do on clay?

Thanks

FFL's are the same whether it's a ground bearing slab or B&B floor.
