I have a job to do that will take a few hours - breaking a concrete path. The hammer is a 110v with a transformer.
Will it be okay to use an extension from the socket to the transformer for a short time or is this an absolute no-no?

The issue if anything is one of working safely and stepping the voltage down close to the outlet in case a cable gets cut, rather than overloading the cable or suchlike.
