Hey. My builder has bought roof tiles for a 12.5 pitch but when we have checked the roof it's only a pitch of 11.1. I'm under the impression we can't use the tile he has ordered. Is there a way the roof can be pitched more without taking the rafters off and starting again. Tia

You can board and felt the roof like a flat roof, then tile it and that's acceptable to building control.

As above , or you could use fitting strips I suppose to adjust pitch.
Your choices are few .

what I call a roof with sarking boards, felt and counterbattens under the tiling battens

(the counterbattens are so rain can run away)

Counter batten is standard practice on a boarded roof.
In this situation the roof is boarded , counter battended then felted over the whole roof with flat roof felt (torch on ) after that tile as normal . Tiles may leak but it's taken care of by the torch on .
