I would like a little advice if possibe please.
We currently rent out a BSIF (steel framed with cladding - no bricks) semi detached house. We are looking at moving back into this house but would like some extension work done.
We are looking to get a 2 storey side extension 3mx6.5m and a single storey rear extension 3mx6.5m. The rear extension would also involve removing the existing external wall and opening it up to form one larger open plan room - however there are steel posts at approx 40" intervals along this wall.
We would only require the shell at the moment as we will get the interior work done at a later date.
Does anyone have any idea of a ballpark figure for this kind of extension.
Hubbie will not put our current house on the market untill he knows that we have enough for the building work, so i am sort of stuck in limbo.
We had a builder come out but he still hasnt gotten back to us and im not sure if he just doesnt want to do it
Also if anyone can reccomend any builders in the tyne and wear region which could do this sort of job.
