Exterior Black Gloss Paint - Water Marks

Hi,

I have just painted my back gate in black gloss paint a couple of weeks back. I have been having a bit of work done on the driveway so the gate needed a wipe but after wiping it when it dries you can see mark where the water was. Is there anything to use to stop these marks or is it something I have to accept with grey paint?

is this a mark from the dust resulting from the work you mention?

when the dust has been washed off e.g. by rain it will look better.
