I need to treat some larch (?) laps on the side of my shed (not ship lap) which have some woodworm. I have used the small Rentokil can where you squirt into the holes but I think the strips really need a brush application to soak them. The only woodworm treatment I can find is for interior wood only, even a local well known shop is advertising on it's site exterior/interior treatment but the can states only for interior. Can anyone suggest a treatment for external wood? Thank you for any advice you may be able to give.

The coloured ones need frequent shaking or stirring as the dye settles in the can.

it is not the same as a stain, oil or varnish. It contains poisonous chemicals in a solvent. Read the ingredients and instructions carefully before purchase. Wear protective gloves and goggles. You will need to apply weather protection, such as shed and fence stain, after it is fully dry. In winter that may take more than a week.

Hi JohnD,

Thank you for your prompt reply, I have sourced a company near me and will get some of the Cuprinol tomorrow. Many thanks for your help, Dibs
