The house I am looking to purchase has had the garage converted to a utility room.
It appears that they've replaced the garage door with an infill panel of brickwork with a window above.
However, it appears from the infill panel that it hasn't been built into the existing brickwork with normal staggered brickwork where the new brickwork joins the existing brickwork. This means there is one vertical line of mortar from below the window to the ground. Would this be acceptable or should they have staggered the brickwork as normal as it appears to me to have created a single line of weakness along this mortar. Photos attached.
TIA.
