Hi guys,

Hopefully this should be an easy fix but thought i check with you guys first! Pics to follow tonight!

ok so we have a toilet overflow pipe coming out of the wall to the front of the house, i've noticed the bricks directly below it were wet (approx 8 bricks in height wide at the top then down to 1 brick further down), first time i've seen it like this and we've been here for 6 months.

I found out that it was the ensuite toilet (put some water down the overflow and missus can see it coming out the other end) and the water was still dripping in the cistern, so I've adjusted it and seems to have stopped dripping before the overflow pipe, I've checked it in the morning and the water is below the overflow.

Anyway, its been 2 weeks now and the brick still looks wet, not excessivly wet but looks damp, the missue touched it early and says it doesnt feel wet. So how long does it take to dry or does it stain the brick to look wet?

The sun doesnt touch that wall much, maybe a little in the afternoon, is this something i need to be worried about?
