external corners not square - upstands

I'm installing my kitchen shortly, and noticed the external corners on my chimney breast are not square.

Will this become an issue when installing the upstands in my kitchen?

How do people approach this? Do i install the upstands square and fill the gap, or do i install the upstand to the wall even if not square?

Fill the gap afterwards.....if you try to fake a right angle, it’ll always come back to haunt!

What would you fill it with?

Would have to see the gap first.....a piece of an infill panel maybe.
Do keep all of your units square!
