External electrical meter box

hi . I have a damaged external meter box cabinet on the side of my house. Does anybody know who is supposed to replace it?
If it’s up to me, should an electrical tradesman be able to tackle it if I supplied the box?
I’ve approached EON , they didn’t want to know.

You need to contact the Distribution Network Operator ( DNO ) for your area,

EON sell electricity to you, the DNO deliver it to you ( along the cables in the street )

The electricity distribution networks are regional grids that branch from the national grids to deliver power to industrial, commercial and domestic users.

Is the box still weatherproof? or, can it be repaired to make it weatherproof? If so I would not bother with the DNO.
