I turned off the water supply to a property I’m renovating. Now the manhole is filling up with water (half full now). This is over 3 days so the leak is quite small, but obviously needs fixing.

Would seven Trent charge to fix such leaks? Is there anything I can do to fix it?

I imagine they will charge, they tend to think of all pipe up to your mains stop cock as their responsibility and everything after as yours so it will depend where the leak is. Also you could try checking the packing gland (where the tap spindle enters the tap body) as it is possible to tighten this easily with a spanner it is common that stock cock develop leaks from there if they havent been used in a long time

Maybe worth calling your water supplier and asking them after you've put an internal stop tap on the end of the pipe.

Of course, you never touched the external stop tap, did you.....

Of course I didn't touch the external stop tap :)

The leak has stopped for now, as the water is turned off for the property. Once I have sorted the plumbing in the house, I'll open the water and if the leak is back, I'll call the water company.
