extra socets on ring main

i have added 4 extra sockets to the down stairs ring main as i have had a consevatory fitted. the fuse box is know making a humming sound? all the socets are working. can any one help?

It sounds to me that you're not really in tune with what you're doing.

I suspect your new sockets are manufactured by AB-BA which would account for the annoying humming.

There are better makes like, ELO which would make the whole experience more enjoyable.

PS...when your mums dressing you tomorrow, ask her who ELO are....

Could this be loose terminals in the CU or new sockets ?
