Hiya, I'm planning to drill a 150mm hole for a kitchen extractor, the prob is the best position is above an external door with only 4 courses of bricks above it
The door was done under 2008 building regs which means it will have a steel (or concrete?) lintel above it, what I need to know is what would be the height of the lintel?
I'm worried that if I drill through I will hit the steel (don't want test holes everywhere it's new plaster!)
The wall is cavity external, pleeez help
