Extractor fan proximity to shower

Hi
I want an extractor fan near my shower and am a bit stuck for space locating it. Could someone tell me how far it needs to be from the shower unit itself (i can locate it in the wall but not in the ceiling)? Is there a particular type of extractor that can be located just above the cubicle?

IPX4 or IPX5 if likely to be soaked with jets of water.

Best bet would be to buy an extra low voltage as well as GaryMos recommendation

Or an in-line fan. Can use anything then, as its out of sight, out of touch.
