f & E tank too small

Kevin, Tony has made more posts than you and has more thanks yous than you. I have added my thank you to yours to increase your thank yous by one. :D

those questions are probably being asked by those whose calibre makes them think thats a skill testing question.
Many years ago, when I was in my 20's, I went for a job with a London council.

During the interview (3 person panel) I was asked a number of technical questions, one of which stumped me as it was rather esoteric. At the end of the interview the chairman asked me if I had any questions. "Not really," I said " but I've been racking my brains about the answer to your question about ....., could you remind me what it is?"

Dead silence and embarrassed looks from behind the table. They didn't know either!

But Kev has a higher thanks/posts ratio than Tony.
I'm not going to thank you, because yours is higher than both of them, and I can't thank Kev because he's a Spam now.

Can you remember the questions? and did you get the job?

The actual wording was;

" Where is the float on a long-arm pattern, in relation to the water level for a LPHW system when in operation?"

The correct answer is 'submerged'.

If the candidate smirks whilst answering because they tried to catch him with such a simple question, or because he's read the same list of interview questions, then all further questions will be selected from the list headed 'Difficult, Obscure and Ambiguous'.

Onetap, I will then thank you for your post for not thanking me for my post. Thank you. :lol:
