Any one know the procedure for testing whether its the gas valve or the PCB????

Talk to the boiler in a calm voice and ask it nicely what the problem is. If you are polite enough it will answer you through its aura

sorry this shoild be in the CC not the public forum...

mods please delete thread...

Usually faulty PCB.

Does it come up immediately its powered or only when a demand for heat is given?

it doesn't have weather compensation... its numpty on off stuff...causing a lot of cycling....not my install I might add, I had to sort out the UFH....

I am a bit lacking when it comes to repairs...installed as they do in Germany and probably the rest of Europe with compensation controls these boilers are highly reliable....

On/Off controls are operating as intended.

Internal blocking codes result from a wrong/poor system design.

No Tony. That's not what a blocking code is.

In that they don't necessarily mean a fault.

I was asking what the difference is in terms of the operation of the boiler. .... Other than the pump demand ;)
