I need my timber roofline replaced with plastic! I was hopeful that I would be fit enough to carry out the work myself sadly this not the case. I am wondering what sort of cost difference there is between over-cladding the timber and total replacement? My neighbour paid in the region of £4000 for a similar style house, where everything was removed and replaced. I would as ever appreciate any advice or thoughts.

Around a tenner a length more for white 18mm.
Capping board should have eave trays fitted as they increase the depth of the fascia which in turn reduces the oversail into the gutter.
