Yes of course European manufacturers will pressurise the EU to avoid loss of trade, but the 27 nations will protect the integrity of the customs union and single market as priority.
What do you want to achieve from that bargaining power?.
The UK currectly has frictionless trade with the EU, due to:
Customs union / single market
Common rule book.
Are you saying that you want to keep frictionless trade and same regulations, which prevents any danage to the UK.
