hey there.
i'm new to this forum and am looking for some advise, i'm planning on building a fake wall behind the sink and toilet cistern to hid the pipe work, i'm thinking of using aqua board but am not sure.
Can i tile straight on it without treatment? what treatment should i use? what other materials could i use? (with what treatments ?) is there anything else i should be taking into consideration for this project.

You can tile straight on to aqua board. Just before you do box everything in, give a thought to access to pipework etc. Might be , not so easy to change sink taps if you've boxed everything in etc.

You could consider using MR boards instead of aqua panel, aqua panel is suitable for shower cubicals and wet rooms.
MR boards will deal with damp moist conditions.
