With regard to the wooden framework for a false ceiling, would it be safe to hang the cross beams from timber to masonry joist hangers which are fixed directly to the wall. As opposed to fixing the hangers to a wall plate.
The size of the room is 2.5m x 4.5m and I will be fitting lightweight PVC cladding over the framework.
