I have a Triton T100XR shower, the shower has started to play up recently it's had a good run TBH, 3.5 yrs.
My problem is it runs warm/cool and has tripped the PCB a few times latley.
My son says it ran cool/cold while he was in the middle of a shower, and he turned it off and then on again and it started working ok again.

Could it be the elements or TCO or sumething else? and how to check?

PS. the top light on the shower was on and then when it went cool/cold the second light came on and top went off, if that means out.
TIA

Already Read them , the're about as usefull as a pair of ice skates in the desert.
But thanks all the same.

If I could maybe test what it was , It might not be a new shower but a repair instead.

hi newgas.

your fault is pointing to a pcb fault
the top neon power will be on all the time the main isolator is on.
the bottom neon low pressure will only come on if a pressure issue has occured

when your shower runs and this occures check the pressure switch is not dropping off the m/switch on the bottom of the pcb (low mains pressure)
which i doubt it is.

if this problem happens and the pressure switch is still making contact
then you have a pcb fault quite common on this pcb 7073333 it suffers from a bad solder connection on the m/switch and the pressure of the switch pushing on the m/switch breaks the solder joints etc.
they can be resoldered and m/switch put back to its correct position.

what a lot do is place a piece of wood between the m/switch and the relay stops the m/switch being pushed up and breaking the joints.

if not a new one retails approx £62.

It isn't doing anything now just whurring! and the pressure light is on.

Does that mean solonoid not opening or is it as you say, sorry for the questions , trying to get a grasp of whats going on , as the initial problem was as above .

Thanks for your reply.

Yes Solenoid is getting 240v on start up.

What is resistance I should have on solenoid am getting 3.82k

And on the 4 prongs in the element can I'm getting 11.5 ish ohms on one and the other nothing, is this the correct place to check the element resistance tho.?

good

3.4 kohms or above.

yes as you know 4 prongs splits into 2 elements.
L to N should give 10 to 18 approx.

you still got no water flow ?
did you do L to N on solenoid ?

L to N nothing but CN6( 1 prong ) to N I'm getting 11.4 ohms (ish)

CN5 (other prong) to L i'm getting nothing (OL)
Is this the correct way to check or am I missing the point :|
Yes still no flow by the way!

2 cables 1 is CN5 and one is CN6 on pcb both going to seperate prongs on the can elements.
