Hi all!

Just looking for some advice regarding Fascia Boards. I live on an end terrace house and the fascia boards are rotted and need replacing. Rather than use plastic, I want to use wood so it blends in with the rest of the houses. The house is approx 25 years old and not sure what type of wood is used or what is the norm for this age of house. Any advice or tips what wood to use would be great.

Cheers!

You can buy fascia boards from builders merchant,it normally has a rebate on it to take the soffit board, remember to give it a good coat off wood sealer before you put it up, make sure you coat the end grain as well, then when you install it a good primer coat if it is to be painted, if not stain as required

I`d just add - primer all over , not just on outside face ;)
