When upgrading (or should that be downgrading?) fascia boards to upvc, do they remove the original wood ones and replace, or do they fix the plastic to cover the wood?

When upgrading (or should that be downgrading?) fascia boards to upvc, do they remove the original wood ones and replace, or do they fix the plastic to cover the wood?

Renovating usually means capping the existing fascia boards. You would need to remove the bottom course of tiles etc, to be able to replace the entire fascia board with new plastic boards.

What is a ball-park price for a 1980s 2 bed end-of terrace (with gable end) in Midlands?

£850 including scaffold or £400 off ladders.
