Fascia forting to garage

I'm thinking of capping over the timber fascia on my garage to make it look a bit neater but have a few questions...

The felt roof over hangs onto the fascia and looks pretty tight to the timber. Is their a way of fitting the fascia up and under the felt or is their another way of doing it?
